Big Nose Foods ltd was born following COVID 19 hitting the UK, when the catering and hospitality industry ground to a holt due to UK wide lockdowns. Big nose foods pivoted to find solutions to help hospitality/ catering businesses get back on their feet when the catering industry reopened.
With restaurants struggling to function with lower staff numbers, convenience was key to help bring their menus back to life. It also allows the chefs to create brand new exciting dishes using our products to take their menus to the next level.
We are a passionate team of chefs and food technologists with previous experience in the manufacturing and catering industries. Collaborating together to make tasty solutions for customers to deliver premium dishes.
Our food is made with high quality and locally sourced ingredients to make our products bursting with flavour.
We create products based around rice and complement this with unique and luxury ingredients to intensify flavour.
As a team we have come together to merge two areas of the food industry to use our skills to make delicious convenient solutions for time consuming tasks in the kitchen.
John is an accomplished and versatile catering and hospitality manager and head Chef with over 35 years. A proven track record of success in the management of large-scale catering, event and banqueting operations for leading corporate and private/celebrity clients as well as hotel and restaurant roles. Skilled in all aspects of operational management including customer service, sales, stock and team management; also competent in business administration and financial management. Other particular expertise gained includes training, coaching and developing sales, within catering teams in addition to strong commercial and financial awareness.
From a young age Harrison has been surrounded by talented chefs, inspiring the beginning of his career in the catering industry. Now, with 15 years experience in restaurants, bars, and event catering, he is excited to be venturing into food production. He aims to bring his wealth of knowledge into Big Nose Foods to develop delicious new products. From concept to creation, he is passionate about producing high-quality food for everyone to enjoy as a part of their restaurant experience.
Hannah is our qualified Food technologist. With over 4 years experience in finding solutions to problems in manufacturing based food business’ She is the expert in converting kitchen based recipes to be made on a larger scale without losing flavour. Hannah also has an intolerance to Lactose (Milk) and this has heavy influenced our products to find Milk free solutions where it doesn’t impact the core flavour.
